History of Cincy Kids 4 Kids

1955-1968 Carnivals were held on Yarmouth Ave. in Cincinnati
During these years the carnival was just a small front yard carnival. Donations were made to Shriners Hospital for Crippled Children in Lexington and Longview Children’s unit school.

1976-1978 The 2nd Generation of Carnivals were held on Glade Ave. in Mt. Washington
New location but still a small front yard carnival. Donations were made to the Convalescent Hospital for Children affiliated with Children’s Hospital Medical Center and to the Special Olympics.

1989-1990 Carnivals were held on Rudyard Lane in Anderson Twp.
Donations were made to Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Child Life program and The Juvenile Diabetes Association.

2000-2001 The 3rd Generation of Carnivals began on Stirrup Lane in Union Twp.
During this time we continued to support the Child Life program at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital and through much support we started to grow!

2002- Carnivals were moved to Winnie the Pooh Children’s Center in Withamsville
Due to the growth of our carnival, we were in need of a bigger location and we were lucky to be offered access to this location.

2003- 1st Annual Golf Outing was added to our fundraising events.
We were able to share the proceeds with more children’s organizations. The organizations we helped included, Cincinnati Children’s Hospital, Shriners Burns Hospital of Cincinnati, Lydias House, Starshine Hospice of Cincinnati, Families of SMA. This was also the year we filed Articles of Incorporation and in doing so we adopted the Name CINCY Kids 4 Kids.

In 2007 we started a new tradition of holding our now much larger carnival at Union Twp. Veterans Park.
The park has allowed us to continue to grow and gather more attention. Proceeds are used to purchase items for the Child Life program at Children’s Hospital, Shriners Burns Hospital, CASA, St. Joseph’s Orphanage, BMF, Fernside , The Ronald McDonald House, local families in need and more.

2010-The 1st Annual 3v3 Basketball Tournament was held at Union Twp. Civic Center
The fundraising events held by Cincy Kids 4 Kids now include – The Annual Carnival, Golf Outing, 3v3 Basketball Tournament and many small bake sales in between.
